Before Starting Category 3 or 4 Work You must obtain a Certificate of Likely Compliance (and a Plumbing Permit for Category 4), submit a Start-Work Notification to Council, and wait for authorisation before beginning.
Typical Inspection Points
- Before covering sewer or stormwater pipes
- After hot and cold water pipes are installed
- When systems are tested (commissioning)
- At job completion, or other stages listed in your permit
