Glenorchy City Council is committed to sound financial management.
We publish our budgets, financial statements and plans so the community can see how public money is managed.
Budget
The annual budget sets out how Council plans to spend money in the coming financial year. The budget is approved by elected Aldermen each June and funds all Council services and projects.
Annual Financial Statements
Annual financial statements show how Council spent and invested money each year. They are audited by the Tasmanian Auditor-General and presented to the community at the Annual General Meeting.
Long-Term Financial Management Plan
The Long-Term Financial Management Plan shows how Council plans to manage its finances over the next 10 years. It considers long-term infrastructure needs, revenue trends and service commitments.
