Glenorchy City Council publishes annual financial statements that show how public money was managed each financial year.
What do the financial statements cover?
The financial statements include:
- Income statement (revenue and expenses)
- Balance sheet (assets, liabilities and equity)
- Cash flow statement
- Notes to the financial statements
Independent audit
The financial statements are audited each year by the Tasmanian Auditor-General. The audit provides independent assurance that the statements are accurate and that public money has been properly managed.
