The General Manager’s Electoral Roll is the official roll of residents eligible to vote in Glenorchy City Council elections.
What is the General Manager’s Electoral Roll?
Under the Local Government Act 1993 (Tasmania), the General Manager maintains a roll of residents who are eligible to vote in Council elections but are not enrolled on the state electoral roll.
Most residents vote using the state electoral roll. The General Manager’s Roll is for people who are eligible to vote in local government elections but are not automatically enrolled through the state roll.
Who is eligible for this roll?
You may be eligible to be on the General Manager’s Roll if you:
- Are a resident of the Glenorchy municipality
- Are a property owner or occupier in the municipality
- Are not already enrolled to vote in Glenorchy through the state electoral roll

Which form do I need?
- Individual property owners or occupiers not enrolled on the Tasmanian House of Assembly roll for this area: use the GM Roll Enrolment Form for Individuals
- Corporate bodies nominating a person to vote on their behalf: use the GM Roll Enrolment Form for Corporation Nominees
